About The Digital Weekly

The Digital Weekly is an independent digital news publication covering global markets, business, and technology. Since 2019 we have reported for readers who want clear, accurate, and genuinely useful journalism about money and the forces that move it — without the hype, the jargon, or the noise.

Our mission

Financial and technology news is too often written to impress rather than to inform. Our mission is the opposite: to explain what is actually happening in markets, business, and technology in plain English, and to help readers make sense of it. We would rather publish one clear, correct story than ten breathless ones.

What we cover

  • Markets — equities, crypto, commodities, and the macroeconomic forces moving prices.
  • Business — company strategy, earnings, and the trends reshaping how companies operate.
  • Technology — artificial intelligence, software, and the innovations changing business and daily life.
  • The economy — interest rates, inflation, and central-bank policy, explained for non-economists.

How we work

Our coverage is built on primary sources — company filings, official data, and named experts — and we attribute clearly. We separate reporting from opinion, label analysis as analysis, and update developing stories transparently. Every article is reviewed by an editor before publication, and our full standards are set out in our Editorial Guidelines.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions at The Digital Weekly are made by our editors alone. Advertising, sponsorship, and affiliate relationships never influence what we cover or the conclusions we reach, and any sponsored content is clearly labeled and kept separate from our journalism.

Who we are

The Digital Weekly is produced by a small, experienced team of reporters and editors. You can meet them on our Newsroom Team page. We operate remote-first, with contributors who bring direct experience from the beats they cover.
