Corrections Policy

The Digital Weekly aims to get every story right the first time — and to fix it promptly and openly when we do not. Trust depends on it.

How to report an error

If you believe we have published something inaccurate, email [email protected] with the article URL, the specific point you believe is wrong, and any supporting information. We review every report.

How we handle corrections

When we confirm an error, we correct it as soon as possible. Our approach:

  • Substantive errors — factual mistakes that affect a reader’s understanding are corrected in the article, with a dated correction note explaining what changed.
  • Minor errors — typos, spelling, and formatting are fixed quietly in place.
  • Updates — when a developing story changes, we update it transparently and, where relevant, timestamp the change.

What we do not do

We do not silently delete articles to hide mistakes, and we do not alter the substance of a published piece without noting it. Corrections are made on the original article rather than buried elsewhere.
